Godinger's Shannon Collection of crystal looks at home in both traditional and contemporary settings. The 24-percent lead crystal is cut with a classic Irish diamond and wedge patterning that sparkles luxuriously. The Dublin whiskey set features four crystal 3-1/2-by-3-1/4-inch double old-fashioned glasses, and a 10-3/4-inch square crystal decanter with a starburst-cut ball stopper. Holding everything together with room enough for an ice bucket is an expansive 18-3/4-by-14-1/4-inch tray with rounded corners, silver-plated and polished to a mirror shine. Like all fine crystal and silver-plate, the items in this set should be washed by hand in warm soapy water, then carefully dried with a soft cloth to prevent spotting. Crystal glassware should not be dried or stored on its delicate rims. Designed by Godinger Silver in New York and made in Slovakia, the whiskey set is gift-boxed and ready to use. --Ann Bieri

I have been looking for this kind of crystal items for a long time, nothing I found with this quality and relatively low priced. I would have spent $200 for this, if I had have seen this in the shops.
I am lucky that I happen searched in Amazon, exactly the classic design I have been looking for. after item arrived, I am impressed with the super quality, the weight, really heavy glasses, plus simple designed silver plated tray, just perfect! This set is very tasteful, classic, elegant, very upscale! I recommend 100%. This was made in Slovakia. This is one of my few best purchases! I can imagine to keep it for home forever, I will never get tired of this set.

The glassware is really heavy and that's great. It has a nice thickness to it. The silver plate tray it comes on is more-or less how people described it, not of the greatest quality, but if you go in knowing that you won't be disappointed as the set is a great value. Every couple of months you need to POLISH the tray with silver polish. I give it 5 stars because I got more than what I wanted with this.

My fiance and I had picked up a set of the Dublin crystal and soon found out the decanter set had been discontinued in most stores. So I knew that my trusty amazon would have it!! I have to say that amazon shipped it so fast, I didn't expect it for 10 days but it came in 2 days! It was more beautiful in person than online. This crystal set has a nice weight to it and it is nice and solid. This set is traditional enough that it will never go out of style. I highly recommend it!

I have the "original" Irish crystal version of this decanter (Thank you, Sheryl.), and, yes, side by side no one is going to confuse one for the other, but from one room to the next, anyone would be hard pressed to discern anything that belies the $250 difference...! Kudos to Slovenia!

This crystal set, which includes a highly polished silver tray, will dress up anyones bar or table top. The set is of fine quality crystal and a very good purchase.
