Amazon.com Review
Godinger's Shannon Collection of crystal looks at home in both traditional and contemporary settings. The 24-percent lead crystal is cut with a classic Irish diamond and wedge patterning that sparkles luxuriously. The Dublin whiskey set features four crystal 3-1/2-by-3-1/4-inch double old-fashioned glasses, and a 10-3/4-inch square crystal decanter with a starburst-cut ball stopper. Holding everything together with room enough for an ice bucket is an expansive 18-3/4-by-14-1/4-inch tray with rounded corners, silver-plated and polished to a mirror shine.

Like all fine crystal and silver-plate, the items in this set should be washed by hand in warm soapy water, then carefully dried with a soft cloth to prevent spotting. Crystal glassware should not be dried or stored on its delicate rims. Designed by Godinger Silver in New York and made in Slovakia, the whiskey set is gift-boxed and ready to use. --Ann Bieri
