Amazon.com Review Created in 1932 by Aino Aalto, this classic Iittala glassware collection reflected the designer's interest in urbanization and functionalism. Today the clean shapes, with a simple but captivating line motif, still make a strikingly relevant statement in dining decors. This set of two 11-3/4-ounce tumblers is ideal for serving everyday beverages. With smooth, round rims and gently tapered sides, the vessels showcase narrow concentric bands circling thick, richly colored glass. Standing 4-1/4 inches tall, the tumblers are designed to be easy to hold and pleasantly weighty. They also come in a variety of sea-fresh colors to mix and match with other Aino Aalto dinnerware. This design won a gold medal at the Milan Triennale in 1936, and each piece is discreetly embossed with the style name on its base. It is dishwasher-safe and made in Finland. --Kara Karll
