The Aspen collection of stemware and barware exudes a confident, stately appeal for the modern home. Crafted in Bavaria of heavy, 24-percent leaded crystal, the wine stems, tumblers, pitcher, and spirits decanter all exhibit the substantial heft and superb brilliance expected from the finest crystal. Aspen pieces are cut with vertical lines that create broad fluted ribs for tactile as well as visual pleasure, and some display peaked arches along the base. Now a division of Riedel, Nachtmann has been a leading crystal maker since 1834. To maintain the crystal's clarity, Aspen should be washed by hand.
